Hired into the engineering training program, including all stages of material fabrication, machining, material analysis, structural engineering, equipment design engineering, welding, equipment construction and installation. Promoted to Envirex Field Service Engineer, serving in 36 States and Canada performing inspections, repairs, field modifications, equipment installation, process and mechanical start-ups on 50 different equipment products. Direct interface with Envirex standards and product engineers for the development and testing of alternate materials, design improvements, and new product field tests. Served as construction superintendent and engineering supervisor on several industrial turnkey projects.
Promoted to Service-Sales Representative, Midwest Region in 1978. Responsible for contract administration, engineering oversight and coordination, production, installation, start-up services, warranties, component sales, equipment retrofits, maintenance and operator training for more than $15M in annual contracts. Developed the first engineering and construction retrofit criteria for Envirex and all other manufacturer's process equipment.

1993 to 2004 ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES, INC. (ERx, Inc.);

Implemented Corporation charter and serves as President and C.E.O. for independent process equipment service organization. ERx, Inc. melds the manufacturing, process engineering, technical engineering, maintenance engineering and construction disciplines for increased equipment service life and reduced cost of ownership. Recognized nationally for expertise on water and wastewater process equipment operation, maintenance, repair and restoration. Over 800 completed projects on 22 different manufacturers and types of process equipment, including bar screens, grit collectors, anaerobic digesters, gas safety equipment, circular and rectangular clarifiers, diffused aeration, solids processing, and trickling filters. Received the 2002 Koby Crabtree Award for "Exceptional Technical Support and Expertise in the Wastewater Industry" from the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators' Association.

From 2004 through 2006, ERx, Inc. began to phase out all construction related operations and shifted company to equipment engineering and supply, focusing on three main equipment lines: Bar Screens, Rectangular Collectors and Grit Collectors, including upgraded equipment specifications and equipment options for new and existing equipment. In 2004, developed first investment casting process and cast stainless steel chains for the Water and Wastewater Industry for Bar Screens, Rectangular Collectors and Grit Collectors, resulting in US Patents 7,237,375 B2 (2007), 7,343,730 B2 (2008), and Canadian Patent 2,519,653 (2010). Developed four (4) basic chain styles for dedicated use in the Water and Wastewater Equipment Industry: 720/730 Series, 715 Series, H82/C9103 Series, and H78/988 Series. Developed a line of custom designed DuraMax plastic and stainless steel chain sprockets, high-grade shaft materials, bearings and ancillary components for headworks equipment. Received Federal trademark brand status for DuraMax Cast Stainless Steel Chain and Equipment Products in 2007. Introduced DuraMax Chains to the American and International Wastewater Industry at the Water Environment Association national tradeshow in Chicago in 2008. Established a network of DuraMax sales representatives in several US locations, and entered into a supply agreement with Amwell, Division of McNish Industries for the sales and marketing of DuraMax Chain and Equipment Products in the United States and Canada for the municipal and industrial Water and Wastewater industries, with over 40 US installations to date.
